Young People's Theater Guild
First of all YPTG stands for the Young People's Theater Guild. This organization encourages young actors in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to act out in plays.
Here are some of the plays that the YPTG in Defiance already preformed.
- the Mikado
The Mikado is a musical about a town named Titypoo were flirting is against the law. The Mikado's son runs away and the lord high exacutioner accidentally fakes his exacution.
- the Brothers Grimm
The Brothers Grimm is about some people trying to put on a play about the Grimm brothers' fairy tales.
- Aladdin
Most of you probably know the Disney movie Aladdin, but this is much much different. It still has the same story line but different lines and new songs. This is a musical that is fun for all ages.
We are currently doing the Emporer's New Clothes.
